Lime Tree Nursery - A Place to Grow.
Welcome to Woodhall Nursery and Early Years.
Our highly trained Nursery team is led by fully qualified teacher and Forest School Leader, Mrs Webster. Mrs Burcham, Mrs Scoular and Miss Worley are all highly qualified professionals who support the learning and development of all children within our Nursery. Mrs Pugh is a fully qualified teacher with years of experience in nursery, and joins the team on a Monday.
We understand the importance of providing a curious environment where children feel safe to explore, investigate and use their imaginations. Our learning environment uses natural materials and calming colours to help create a homely and nurturing atmosphere. We believe in following the interests of the child and combine the ethos of 'Forest School' with the principles of ‘Success For All’ to enable children to fulfil their potential across all areas of development.
We recognise the benefits of being outdoors (in all weather) and take full advantage of our well-equipped nursery garden and school grounds. With two Level 3 Forest School leaders within the Nursery team, the children are supported in exploring and experiencing the natural world through hands-on activities. There is so much for the children to do outside - run, jump, balance, explore, dig and get muddy!
Children are able to join our Nursery once they have turned 3 - we provide morning and afternoon sessions, as well as provision for those with a 30-hour code. We do also accept a limited number of funded 2 year olds. If you have any questions about what we do, or would like to come and visit us, please get in touch.
Our nursery takes funded two year-olds and children from three years of age. We have a maximum of 26 children in a session with no more than four children under the age of three at any one time.
If oversubscribed, after the admission of children with an Education Health Care Plan naming Woodhall Primary School, priority for admission will be given to those children who meet the criteria set out below, in priority order:
