Opened in 1968 - Woodhall turns 50!

The sun shone and a nasty looking black cloud decided not to rain as we held our 50th birthday celebration on September 14th. The Friends of Woodhall School excelled themselves and a party atmosphere was in the air. With a magnificent cake centre stage the playground was full of activities including bungee jumping, bouncy castles and a petting zoo. Mr. Fuller and the Lady Mayor, Sue Ayers, gave birthday speeches and cut the cake to start the proceedings. The highlight of the evening, however, must have been the Flash Mob organised by Ms. Newman. The Phoenix Marchers were joined by pom-pom wielding members of staff; some more coordinated and enthusiastic than others! All in all, a good party was had by all. Thank you to The Friends of Woodhall School.
